The TV Guides

During 2000 (October 21 to 27), TV Guide put out a Special Issue in which there were 24 different covers of TV Guide. Each one had a different character from the Simpsons. The best part is the characters were the "secret stars" of the Simpsons. In other words, they were the supporting characters and not the main characters...the ones that really make the show great like the Comic Book Guy, Professor Frink, Sideshow Bob, etc. Sometimes, too much focus is on the 5 Simpsons (especially Homer) and alot of the other characters get overlooked. This time, that didn't happen.

TV Guide Checklist

You could have tried to collect all 24 issues yourself but it was virtually impossible since Fox released different covers in different parts of the country. Of course, not to let an opportunity get by, Fox sold the entire set as a package and included a poster/checklist to anyone (sucker) like me who would pay for it. It wasn't cheap either.
