Any diehard fan knows the Simpsons made an album back in 1990 called "The Simpsons Sing the Blues".  But how many fans know it went Platinum?

The Simpsons...Sing the Blues This is actually a pretty good album and contained 2 hit singles: "Do The Bartman" and "Deep, Deep Trouble" (both of which had videos as well)     RIAA AWARD As I mentioned above, the Album, Cassette and C.D. sold more than 1,000,000 copies and the album was certified Platinum by RIAA.  I have one of the plaques that was presented to commemorate this milestone.  It is one of my favorite pieces of Simpsons Memorabilia.  The plaque reads as follows: PRESENTED TO WALLACE WOLODARSKY TO COMMEMORATE THE SALE OF MORE THAN 1,000,000 COPIES OF THE GEFFEN RECORDS ALBUM, CASSETTE AND C.D. "THE SIMPSONS...SING THE BLUES"
